Races & Classes.

So we know there will be 6 Classes and 5 Races at Launch. From what I've gathered its

Classes: Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, Wizard, Ranger
Races: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Halfling

So anyone know or want to guess on what the final race and class are? It'll probably be monk and drow but I'm personally hoping for Bard and Teifling. Paladin would also be an acceptable class.

(As a bonus theres apparently a Derro party member in the main campaign, so thats pretty cool)

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they will plan to add more races later on as DLC or something.

I hope it's not a half-breed to throw in. I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of a Tiefling or a Dragonborn. What-with them going off of 5th edition D&D it could also be a Drow :L

Paladin gives another hybrid character. And Half-Elf give another option for the ever popular Humans & Elves.

Thanks for the interview. Half-elf is a little disappointing but I guess its significantly easier to do art assets for.

If my name didnt give it away I am excited for Paladin. Halfling Paladin here I come.

Sorry Wilk, looks like you will have to wait for the DLC for druid. (at least they confirmed that they will try to get every class into the game if not at launch then through DLC)

I'm willing to bet that the drow race will already be inculded under the elf option as well as half-elf. I'm also willing to bet that the druid class will be listed under the cleric class. I've been watching the videos and they have said several times that the classes they have listed are just the main tier of the class and that there are several sub-classes to each main. So I think there will be druid and shaman selections under the main class of cleric as well as barbarian under the warrior and necro under wizard and so on and so forth. They are being really closed mouthed and coy about whats going to be in the game so this is just my guess based on how they talked about the game in the interviews. Almost forgot, my bet would be the last race being half-orc as that race has been included in almost every D&D pc game released so far.

If they follow 5e well enough Drow will be under Elf as Drow is one of the elves subraces in 5e (along with Wood and High)

This is way to lackluster for a D&D game with such a price tag.
As a player you shouln't care "how much time and work" they have put into this, but more "how much content they made with that time and work".
Its their call to give us a fair amount of content for a good price... which it isn't now.

A "fair" price for 5 classes and 4 races should not exceed the 15€ mark.
If the game exceeds the expectations in other areas 20€ tops!
Buying only if it has good reviews from the steam community and youtubers I trust when its on sale.

You think that is unreasonable to ask for? Those are just the BASIC classes for 5ed D&D!
Races: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Halfling + ( Half-Orc, Half-Elf, Tiefling )
Again .. BASIC races. Only the Tiefling or subraces could be considered exotic an therefore DLC material.

AND EVEN THAT WOULD BE BAREBONE FOR A 5ed. D&D GAME!

+Races :( Dragonborn, Warforged ) -> those 2 WOULD be okay as a DLC. ( 10€ max )
