Is 512MB of dedicated video RAM enough?
My PC is a bit dated, but still falls somewhere between the minimum and recommended specs to run the game. The only thing that failed the test was dedicated video RAM, I have 512 and the minimum listed on the test site was around 750. That stuff isn't listed here on Steam or anywhere I have looked and I am wondering if the game will run on the lowest setting when everything else is above the minimum requirements.

Probably not.

Yeah, as Zorpen mentions, probably not. This game is a bit of a GPU hog at present. I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

It says 8800GT or 4850. Both are 512MB cards, so I'd say yes for low settings.

Buuuuuuttttt...... You said "dedicated", which leads me to believe you're using an integrated GPU. So just spill it. What's under your hood?

I played this on a 6 year old laptop with a 260M. Your card is fine for at least low to medium/low.

Dedicated means it has a gpu with dedicated ram i.e. not system ram which means he has a discrete gpu.

Why are your full system specs?

Some discrete GPUs have both.

Indeed i suppose. I guess it would depend in where he got the "dedicated" from on the PC. Was just waking up and wasn't thinking clearly, integrated uses sharded system memory but uses aa total graphics memory and a dedicated memory, sorry about that, lol. Without the system specs tho its hard to answer the op question to know if this game would run at all.

Does it run on 32 bit OS?

I said a bit dated, not old :D Besides the PC has served all my gaming needs, new and old so far wihtout issues.

Those who wanted to know more about the specs:
Video card: ATI HD 4800 series which puts me in the 512MB dedicated video RAM area
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz - actual speed is 4GHz
RAM: 6GB
OS: Win7 Ultimate Edition 64-bit

To PC game you do need to upgrade, you cant expect to run software good in 2015 with hardware from 2008.

You should be good to go. Albeit low settings but no reason you shouldn't be able to run it Past believe. (My opinion pf course ultimately your decision to try it out and i hold bo responsibility if it fpe some reason doesn't work out) :p

The reason your specs are important are if you have a weaker gpu with 512 vram it might still not have enough graphic processing power.
