I liked Parasite Eve as well; but I think we may be in the minority. I'd rather see a movie made from those games, even if it is a CGI movie. The cut scenes were interesting. I have no idea how they made the transformation effects. I know a bit about CGI, but sometimes someone will wow us with their talent; regardless of the crude software we had back then.

Parasite Eve Remake, assuming it's done well, would be absolutely amazing... It was one of my favorite games on PS1. The fact they went from RPG to classic horror.

A remake of PE1 and PE2 would do great. It might still be possible in the future. Lunar was quite old before they suddenly made a remaster. There could be hope. =/

Parasite Eve is an awesome game at least the first one and they are great contenders for remastering.
They should revive the franschise with remasters and new games and maybe tv-show/movie like Fallout but With PE universe.

Does anyone remember Kartia: The Word of Fate? One of my favorite integrations of the 'World Tree' mythos. A tactical grid based RPG. Branching stories from 2 separate perspectives. Environments that changed with spells you cast... there was a lot here for a PS1 game!

I guess I'll accept Vanguard Bandits instead, since it's also a former Working Designs remake project. And scratches the multiple story paths and tactical grid based itch, but with mechs!

Kartia was such an underrated gem. I played the hell out of that game. Same on Vanguard Bandits. Since we're adding to the wishlist, let's get Dragon Force remastered.

I remember Kartia there being something about how you didn't actually have to engage with the summon demon mechanic at all and it actually made the game easier....

I never heard of Kartia. It would be strange, because I've played tactical RPG's, even on the SegaCD, though I can't remember the name of em. I'd think if Kartia was one of em, It'd ring a bell; but it doesn't.

Kartia was PSX only. You probably played Shining Force CD.

Kartia was an odd game. Can't say I really liked it myself. This might be a game worth trying again if it came to be remastered. It seems like a very unknown game, though.

Yea Shining Force CD and Dark Wizard. I also owned a PS1 and unfortunately I never saw Kartia. I did some searching and even the images aren't familiar. I've owned a lot of RPG's for those old consoles, but i've missed a few.

I played so many RPGs on Ps1 and even I missed a few. Guess it's hard to "catch em all". At the same time, it's ideas for games to play later so it's still a win scenario.

On the SegaCD, other than Lunar, I've played Vay which was a interesting RPG. I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of it as well.

Edit: I didn't know it came to Steam!

Heard of Vay on very old consoles, didn't know it released to steam either. Nice.

Still no Grandia 3 though. The one with the flying airplane one? Would also like a remaster of it too.

They'd probably have to do some rights negotiations with Ayumi Hamasaki's record company, personally I don't want Thousand Arms if it can't include Depend on You

...Who even owns the rights to Thousand Arms nowadays anyway? Red Entertainment? Atlus still?

I'd love to see it happen eventually, but Thousand Arms is fairly far down my "JRPG remaster want list" right now, much prefer to see Terranigma, Lufia 1&2, Xenogears, Breath of Fire III, Megami Ibunroku Persona, or Dew Prism/Threads of Fate first.
