i really want this game to be good but i just have this feeling that its nothing more then an lf2 reskin and not a very good one so hopefully it will be good still have some trust in you guys

It's only Marti. And it is indeed only planned to be a visual upgrade at first.

I don't mind waiting for more upgrades but doesn't it require an engine change to make a difference?

It is indeed rewritten in a new language, but that doesn't mean he didn't just port all the logic as it was. The game play isn't currently meant to be significantly different in any way. Even the multiplayer still only says local and lan based on the store page.

It'd be pretty good if we can play coop using steam's let's play, instead of having to do the ole hamachi LAN trick.
