Still working on Level 200+ armor/weapon gems but this is a very hard, slowly and long term job because anvil not working properly with hight level gems and instead of upgrading in 90% cases downgrading my high level gems - this also needs lots of gems, cash and of course luck...

Changing 2 armor gems give me total of 95-98 critical chance(in one sword 100%) and more than 1000% critical damage also liitle higher swords DPS(by +80) but Melee bonus is reduced from 112% to 56%...All swords still elemental...

But when I replace a elemental gem and put one on lvl 206 visible at right side of those 2 screens I get DMG you see on the photos...and with 80% Critical chance in weapon only what give me total 100% CC with armor bonus but sword is only physical...

Someone cross the barrier of 2000DPS with elemental gem in sword?
If someone have good builds record it(also with armor gems) and post here...

How did you get a 100% critical chance, and in which sword?
PromaG Nov 9, 2016 @ 8:59am
You have CC from weapon gems and from armor gems - weapon gems+armor gems give together 100% depends what gems I use in weapon and/or armor...From what I see if you want 100% CC from weapon only you need 3xgems on around 220-230 lvl with CC because at this level one gem gives around 32-33% CC(because one I have on lvl 206 have 30% critical chance)...

Higher lvl gems = Higher Critical chance value...

Sorry, but I have 3 questions:

1. Which level do you play on? You have an insane damage output, but how do you survive?

2. Please, tell me how to upgrade gems properly! I just don't get how to influence the forge to get the gem I want; even if I fuse 3 identical(except for the level) gems I get a completely different one so I don't really understand how to.

3. What's the playstyle? Permavanish?

Thanks, looking forward to try your build!

1.Insane 4 but I dying sometimes when I must switch between 4 swords with different elementals or Insane 2 with +90 money find when need cash...Generally dont have problem with survive because nothing close to me - one loaded power hit(s+rmb) with crit killing whole group of enemies...I am only dying when few groups attack me and I need change sword between 3-4 elementals but if i must use only 2 they not close...Also dying sometimes from kamiko...Demon rabbit is one loaded Power hit adventure at Insane 4...Also I first spend cash then play Insane 4...

When you die and second chance is active lol you have a 500% of this hehe

This is a "glass cannon" build...

2.This is random - some ppl write about 3 same elemental give same one but I use gems with similar levels so I not try this method - generally its all random...

3.Most a Power Hit (S+RMB) when fully loaded and crit happened its killing every normal, big, elite enemy on 1-2 hits from distance except mutated kamiko...

how about some 5% life leech ?
and some damage resist like 60-80% like ?
dealing without it at insane 4 should be vanish like style or sneaky cautious walk ?

i have similar builds but a bit lower gem levels and some defense armor
and main weapon is two G-triple blades with half ice half physical damage
doing most sting without weapon switching just like a kitchen mixer.. :bleeding_heart:
PromaG Nov 9, 2016 @ 3:45pm
I just make this build today (some gems) now I testing it and must say its a real "glass cannon" - I am dying quite often at Insane 4...Especially from Spectrum enemy grenades...Unfornately what is strange big enemies have no chance but dying most time from small fast ones when they have 3 or 4 different resistances...Worst ones are spectrums...

But this is no matter I can change 1-2 gems or make new one 200+ with life drain and I will have lot of life drain but lost 30% of power - I make this build to fast map cleaning...

But even without that I can running away after first hit which kill half of enemies, change weapon still running until power shot is fully loaded then turn back and release a power(I playing like this from first playthrough that is my playstyle)
VIOLATORu666 Nov 9, 2016 @ 6:10pm
as about small folks - seems there is a good way aiming much lower the target

yes it is possible to heal up instead leech but it's lame like vanish

run and hit is too simple solution and not quite challenging

as about standing a damage it is like to stay alive that acid fart aura of that big ****

dying is not acceptable - you are Wang :sword_f: - not a Fly :headache:

I want this to be a shooter again...

Although I played 60+ hours (on insane difficulty 31+/51+/71+) , unfortunately, those items didn't drop. :(
so I lost all hope and decided to play the witcher 3 ( I am much happier now ) :D:D
P.S I also spent more or less 2 000 000 zillions to craft but nothing interesting I got.

I call hacks. Even though you played the game for 200+ hours, getting that many good gems is highly improbable. Not impossible, but improbable. You say you save-loaded to refresh the shop so you can get good crafting candidates but that still doesn't help with the RNG of crafting, not to mention that the amount of money you pour into the crafting itself. You have not just 1 good weapon, not 2, 3 weapons. On top of those, you have good armor gems. You have good of everything.

I didn't play the game as much as you, but over 60+ hours of my adventure, I still don't have a single gem that is even close to any of the gems you have. And I invested a lot in crafting. Even if things go your way, you still have to combine a lot of gems to achieve even higher levels and with the amount of money I'm getting, I have a hard time getting something out of crafting. So yeah, I'm calling hacks. You either added like a zillion^2 zilyens, or adjusted the gems.

Shops have nothing with it...I load to refresh my high level gems loose when in 90% of cases my high level gems are downgrade-d instead of upgrade....I use Low level gems I found at whole playthrough...

I close game process/load game hundreds of time so i not waste money and dont loose precious
high level gems when anvil downgrade them instead of upgrading...Its really simple but you need to be patient...First prepare 30 level 147-155 gems then you must get those values :

3x147-155 gems result must be 170-178 (if lower close game process, load and try again)
then 3x170-178 gems result should be 184-192 ( if lower close andd try again)
when you finally have few 190+ gems because this is now hardest to get - many loads until you get lvl 200...

You know to making 3 any 200+ gems for future try to get something around 210lvl I spend few hours to make it(im sure more than 5 hours)...Its not that easy but its worth it because stats difference is beautiful when you compare to lvl 150 gem...Just look for a gem on the right from those 2 screenshots lvl 206 +61%damage and 30% critical hit!! Soon I try get one on this level with both cc/cd...

If you going to anvil and upgrade every gem one by one you only loose cash and lots of your high level gems instead of upgrade will be downgrading...From level 151 you must do it slowly with main menu quit(and save) every good upgrade...

Remember:

147-155 >>> 170-176
170-176 >>> 182-190
182-190 >>> 193-200
191-193 >>> 200-204
196-199 >>> 203-210

This is results list you should accepted when upgrading - all lower results (close game and try again)...And remeber that lowest source value = lowest result value same with the highest...

Nothing is adjusted - I can say to you NO PAIN NO GAIN...You see when try especially with hardest to get specific armor gems what was most annoying part of upgrading... When you "take 50 hours fun" with anvil and many hundreds game close\loads you see effects...

Money is not a problem I got half million per one map with money bonus what takes for me 5-8 minutes....Lower level gems needs only 8k or 16 k of money higher 170+ 130k...but when you close game after bad upgrade you not loose money...

So, you would say that a pure physical damage melee wouldn't do it? I like it because you don't have to switch all the time, but ofc you lose some damage.

You think counting on elements only is the way to go?
