What does the "Turkish Delight" option do?

No, I'm not talking about the "Turkish Delight" achievement. It's also something in the options menu accessed while reading the book (as opposed to the options menu accessed from the title/start screen). If you scroll down while in the in-book options menu, there is on/off toggle button for an option called "Turkish Delight". I hadn't noticed it before -- perhaps it appeared after I got the achievement of the same name? I don't know. Anyway, does anyone know what it does?!? Since just recently got the game and have yet to successfully complete the story, I'm reluctant to experiment with it until I beat it at least once using the default settings (which, for this option, appears to be "off").

I don't know but it's got to be a reference to the Snow Queen bribing Edmund with Turkish Delight in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The Turkish Delight setting turns all your provisions into Turkish Delights. I have tested it and it appears to be exactly the same as provisions except they will be called Turkish Delights.
