Seen the humble bundle where you get a 17 disney games, mostly lego and the classic point and click indiana jones game. Of course I added this to my account first and saw the backdrop art on steam, nostalgia hit

Remakes in general are tired. I would rather videogame and movie industries just re-release games and movies. Remaster the graphics by cleaning up any muddy areas or just port it 1:1 to modern consoles but otherwise I'll literally buy the same game twice/thrice rather than some random teams "vision".

The Complete Saga is exactly what you described as a re-release/remaster. The Skywalker Saga though is a remake
