Any other Lego game setting files are either in Local or Roaming under any of the following:
LucasArts\ttales\WarnerBros.InteractiveEntertainment\WBGames
You can edit your resolution + window settings here, and you need to set the framerate at 60Hz
These settings should stop the lag between sound and video which is probably causing the stuttering.
(You could also make sure none of your pc's video card settings are trying to increase the framerate independently from the game)
Hope this solves your problem :)
- if your monitor is 60 Hz, set the Max Frame Rate to 60
- if your monitor is 85 Hz or higher, set Max Frame Rate to 85
Start the game. Go to the video settings, make sure that refresh rate is set to either 60 or 85 - whichever one matches your Max Frame Rate setting. The stutter that occurs every couple of seconds should hopefully be gone.
Might also work on AMD GPUs but I don't know how to set a max frame rate for a game using AMD's control panel.
Sorry to hear that. Can I ask what CPU and GPU you are using?
On my previous PC, I ended up using different solutions to fix this particular stuttering problem, so I can understand why this specific one didn't work for you. A couple of other options to try:
- Disable the Steam overlay
- Instead of using your GPU control panel to limit the game's frame rate, you can try using RTSS instead, which behaves differently in how it limits FPS. If using RTSS, you'll want to set the limit a couple of FPS below the refresh rate. Instructions on how to use it are here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/32440/discussions/0/45350791097877976/#c1745594817438815445
Yeah that is also how I encountered it - just a visual "skip" of a frame every second or so.
Have you tried playing the game with both the 2060 Super and the integrated Vega graphics? The IG chip should be powerful enough for this game I would think. And it might make a difference in the stuttering behavior.
