Can this game break my PC? THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
I ask this before i buy or not buy this game. I am scared to download this game on my very new gaming PC. Can this game or any other LEGO games damage modern PCs? Also can old games damage modern PCs? And can this or other old/Lego game fry PCs?

Why do you think an old game would damage a modern gaming PC? Are thinking it will run too fast and burn out your PC components? Well it won't. Seems like an irrational fear to me. Please don't don't take offense to this, I'm just trying to help.

I have played many of the old Lego games on my modern PC (including this one) which is an i7 8700, 16GB RAM and an RTX 2080 which is still a pretty high end graphics card.

The game runs flawlessly on my PC.

From what I have seen the Sims 3 can really only fry a graphics card for a really outdated laptop. So if you have a decent - modern PC or Laptop you should be fine with the Sims 3. You will also be fine with Lego Star Wars, as this game is way less demanding than the Sims 3. If you have a PC with older parts and you are really that worried, then play the game in the older graphics mode and play in a lower resolution.

it wont happen in lego star wars because it plays in locked 60 fps, sims 3 could only really cause trouble with uncapped fps on weak hardware

I remember telling my little cousin that installing and playing Fortnite on my powerful gaming PC will cause a black hole to form in my GPU. I said it was because Fortnite's graphics were too simplistic. In reality I just didn't want 90GB of trash on my PC. So, I'm not surprised someone thinks an old game can be "dangerous".
