Mal ne Frage zu den frei platzierbaren Items: In der Demo kann man nichts platzieren, nur droppen. Die schönen Glasflaschen gehen dabei kaputt und gedroppte Items verschwinden dann auch ganz schnell. Geht das nur jetzt noch nicht? Hängt das mit Berechtigungen zusammen? Können wir einen Hammer haben und mit den vorhandenen Steinen etwas bauen? Würde die Wartezeit etwas angenehmer gestalten :D

So what is the engine if it's not java ?
A voxel engine or an other ?
will the java version still be available afterwards, or it will disappear to make way for the new version?
I will wait for a full version to test.

beautiful, I really love this game and I love the 18th century armor/weapons/building blocks and I really hope you expand on this section. The game seems broken into segments. Stone age, Colonial age, and modern age. Again i really love the colonial era stuff and hope to see more! Thanks for all your hard work and so far so good!

I thought there was a medieval age too?
But yeah i'd love to see alot of stuff for the notable ages.
My wish is for vehicles you can customize via building.

I think it could be interesting if you made small updates be added to the demo but at the same time that could slow the overall progress. I think it could be a decent idea though because it could just test all the new things you add. I'm guessing you're just going to add a beta later down the line though that will be the game itself.

Spielen ist möglich, sieht auch mega aus.
Leider ist das Bauen noch nicht möglich. Jedenfalls habe ich kein Baumenü oder ähnliche option gefunden

Absolutely blown away. Probably the best graphics I've ever seen in a game. So clean and clear. You have far surpassed my expectations, well done. The moment when I destroyed the table and chairs with a pickaxe honestly made me go "wow". Just seeing how the wood broke apart was so realistic and looked so clean. Amazing work. :steamhappy:

So, I'm going to assume, that eventually, all features of the old version will be revisited in this new version. What I'd like to know is a few things.
1. Is there plans to fix the absent water physics that causes water to never spread out, or drain down holes?
2. Is there plans for anything like precipitation accumulation?
3. Any chance there may eventually be controller support in the new version?
4. Will the new version recognize enclosed spaces from outdoor areas, when determining air temperature? It breaks immersion when one has a fully enclosed space, torches everywhere, and other major heat sources, and the character starts shivering because they're not right next to a fire.

Unfortunately the crafting part isn't available in the demo yet, but it will be added in the near future ;)

Ja, leider ist das Platzieren von Items noch nicht ganz implementiert, daher kann man selber noch kein Item Platzieren. Das einzige, was man wirklich schon verwenden kann (Platzieren etc), sind die Objekte (Möbel usw).

The new version uses Unity. For the terrain generation, we're using a customized version of the marching cubes algorithm.

Yes, once the new version replaces the Java version, the Java version will still be available as a separate beta branch (so you will still be able to play the Java version at any time) ;)

Ja, leider fehlt das Bauen noch, das kommt aber mit dem nächsten Update :) Momentan kann man lediglich mit den Objekten (Möbel usw) bauen - tatsächlich schaffen es sogar einige kreative User, auch mit diesen sehr eingeschränkten Mitteln was tolles herbeizuzaubern

Yes, flowing water is definitely planned :)

Do you mean rain etc. should flood the terrain over time? In this case, no, unfortuantely that would have a massive impact on performance - probably that would be too much for a big world like in RW =/

Actually the current demo already has controller support :) Only limitation is that you can't fully control the UI with it - but player movement etc. should already work.
We're still working on expanding controller support.

The Java version had some rather high requirements for the indoor detection: If a wall was thinner than 0.2 blocks, it was ignored - so if the walls or the roof were only made out of wood planks, temperature was still an issue inside the building. I guess it's probably a good idea if we lower these requirements a bit in the new verison.

Super schön einfach toll und geil
Hier wird Immersion groß geschrieben
habe mir weniger erhofft und mehr bekommen
Ich kann es kaum erwarten mehr zu sehen
