I'm glad the Japanese anime studio 'White Fox' attracted 'Mili' to perform their music for the opening for the anime 'Goblin Slayer'. Mili is an awesome musical group with many talented people that their music ranges from soft music to darker music, chanting, vocals, & electronic. It's funky, but that's what makes it enjoyable.

This one fits 'Goblin Slayer' with how the main character allowed the demons within to turn him into the very thing he hates that he's even aware of it. The lyrics reflect this in the song that the main character in both media became the very thing they fought against that they became their inner demons both mentally and physically.
Do your best to listen to the lyrics that it fits nicely with the anime of fighting your inner demon. I guess this can also be tied to how emotionally unstable people are in VRchat that it also speaks in that manner. Teens, and all. I'll also admit, myself as well. All of us really. We're all fighting our inner demons.

Then the other awesome tracks to enjoy:

Last one is 'Still Alive' being a Portal gaming music cover. I just love the musical chanting in Mili tracks that it makes me enjoy the higher point of the tracks.
I do enjoy Hideaway, just not the music video. I find the whole character of hers plastic, fake, and over-enthusiastic that it comes off as "painfully" corny. The music is best done when heard on radio that now that I see the music videos (official & live) it lost its buzz. Still sharing it because I'm proud of finding it simply by searching it up via lyrics on Google.

I'm happier listening to this one. It's far catcher and more fun. That duet back and forth thing they have going on <3 :

Before I forget....
Scatman was brought up because of VRchat that I'm loving it came up on Youtube recommended because of it. I wasn't aware of it until it eventually clicked that someone in VRchat did the whole "ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop" bit in a random video:

Nier: Automata still sounds as powerful as it was when it released on PC Steam:

I also remember hearing this way back in 2003 when in Slovakia during one of my Europe trips that I was thinking about it again today.

I should have posted another posting with the following that they've simply been building up.
--------------------
- Sting - A Thousand Years
(Sting, to me, has music which sounds like it's fit for the Macross anime soundtrack from the era it came with. I love both this & 'If I ever lose my faith in you' because of that synth. Macross vibes are ingrained into my soul that I can't unhear it. Only those two tracks hold the most weight to me.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zn7eWTsj9wU
- Also Sting, just missing that "magic" I feel with the above
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQkkmYIu95I
- Keep a close eye on Meute that they have awesome techno in a marching band style. It's awesome
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYtjttnp1Rs
- Awesome Celtic themed music that it makes itself stand out nicely. Always like unique ways of playing music in a metal/pop bagpipe manner that the electric guitar fits nicely with the bagpipe & vice-versa. I love it!

Do you want music to last many generations? Don't make it "generic", make it specifically for a game so it can last many years. I found myself coming back to Rome: Total War OST because of the uniqueness to their music tracks, something the newer generation simply has "cinematic" music. It lacks the uniqueness that it needs to leave an actual genuine impression on people.
The two below embeds have actual uniqunessness that you KNOW it's from Rome Total War, and not some movie vibe to it. You can hear, sense, and feel a Roman influence in it <3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4sNBfbbBDg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlp4TQt-yog
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkWQedOnszU
And then Ubisoft Romania's unique touch of adding these special tracks perfectly fit for a haunting submarine experience. Sure, it's far more dated than Rome: Total War, yet it still has something that only Silent Hunter 3 has: "Tension" and a unique character to call its own :)

I honestly hope Rising World shall leave a heavy impression in the gaming world both gameplay and music wise. It's already trying thanks to both Red51 & Waveshapr that I'm curious to find out how Rising World shall influence the scene further. I wonder what track shall stand out the most that it'll make us go, "HEY! That's a Rising World track!", and not something generic as Rome Total War 2's "Movie" sounding OST.
I do apologies for my few months of randomness, vents, and such.... I'm breaking apart yet still barely holding myself together that music is still a thread I can hold onto :)

Gradually loving these guy's music more and more I expose myself to their move. Maybe you guys shall as well that I'm curious if their influences shall find their way into Rising World for when we gain the actual World Generation update hmm.

The last one sounds like the intro music to Beast Machines if anybody saw that long time ago.
Nier: Automata is intense....
-------
The music always gets to me, damn. The music I'm sharing is remixed, yet still true to the game's soundtrack.
- Weight of the World:
(To those who have played the game properly will have some form of 'PTSD' from this.)

- A Beautiful Song:

- Grandma (Destruction):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojsbgUH0B9I
- Nier Automata - The Tower:
(This one hits hard because of what it led up to and to what happened to the main characters from Route A & B.... Rough, yet beautiful. You can basically hear the mood I'm trying to word.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI26lvJlFjg
----
The music and the way this game is executed is amazing. Damn.... It would even make a grown man cry, if they chose to pay attention to everything happening in the game. Damn, all those emotions, the craziness......
Nier Automata ranks high for a reason and I'm feeling those emotions heavily.
I also hope you guys checked out the Nier Automata soundtrack. That's how you make a memorable one :)
