how to find aluminium ore

Hi,

need some help - does anyone know which color aluminium ore has? I mean I found already gold, silver, wolfram, iron and copper but no aluminium and that is required for the new work bench.

please let me know if anyone has already an overview of color and where to find the different ores.

hey Mograna i am having truble finding aluminium ore i have looked and looked and a few ppl have told me it looks like stone but other then that and what is wolfram?

wolfram is as well an ore type - it is light brown in the caves. I know that iron is shown as red and copper as orange stone - mithril is green and cobalt blue... gold is shown as yellow stone

i'm assuming we have to dig deeper to find these ores. having the same prob

in the patch comments red mentioned that aluminium ore is rare to find and seem to have the same color as stone - it is really a pity because everyone is really curious about creating the new bench - but it is only possible with aluminium. So I already waste three hours to find aluminium ore without any success

so my question to red is: how rare it is? How long you have to search to find aluminum when it is necessary for building something. Couldn't there be any hint or option to find it more easier? Or could you change the bench to build it with copper or wolfram - which is more easier to find?

by the way - be careful when you digging near lava - you will die and it is not possible to load your dead body there

You find aluminium mostly around the surface, also in mountains. It does not spawn at lower elevations (the minimum elevation for aluminium is slightly below the "border" where the fog turns into darkness ). However, it's a rare ore though.

Wolfram= Tungsten ore

The only aluminium I found sofar was on the surface... A white spot in the grass...
