Build a boat?

i have all six parts of the build a sailboat. how do you put it together and place in water?

near the water were you want to launch the boat start with sailboat kit I (frame A) and place that down, then sailboat kit II (Frame B), then sailboat kit III (Hull), then sailboat mast, sailboat sails, and finally the storage.

Finally point your cursor at the boat and you'll see it change to a hand cursor, press F to push the boat into the water. You can hold F to name the boat, add a graphic to the sail, etc.

you have to hold the right mouse button, they don't instantly place like with the blocks.

Thanks, roommate figured it out. but the sailing sucks. cannot back up.

and cannot use the map while sailing.

Rowboat is easier to control, but can't backup in that either.

Actually, you can. While sailing press escape. Do not move around and fall off. But while standing, you can use your map and everything else and eat and drink. Then look down at the boat or at the mast until you get the place in the circle and press the F to occupy the sailing seat again
