item ore 64 2 will give you green chunks which you can then drop into the areas you want grass. They are not perfect, and only so much the scythe can do on them.

If it had a hopper the same as the farming sim one, we could dump the cut grass where we want new grass to grow and use a rake to smooth it over the area we want to cover. That would solve the problem of getting grass seeds.
Another by product of this would be to pile the cut grass in a certain area where it would slowly mulch and attract cows, sheep, goats and other farm animals we could then build a fence around to pen in. We'd then have the makings for farming animals.
