Hellhounds are indeed announced/confirmed.
Imagine finding hell oriented apples (Forbidden fruit) that can give you bonuses, as well as ill effects, to be both a blessing and a curse at the same time. If we ever gain skill trees and such maybe those apples can be used to increase those somehow.
I love where you're thinking, Jimbob :)
But we have a lot of plans for hell, and I'm sure it will be a pretty interesting part of the world in the end ;)
Can't wait for it!! ^^ Love the ideas!!!
Players could then probably work together to escape the gassy thing that it it tried heading upwards into the 'normal' underground it would die like an Enderman would to water.
------------
There's something I've been curious about is if we gain entities in the underground if I'd be A) More, or B) less scared to venture deep underground. Silence itself plays tricks on your brain because you expect something that it spooks you really good that it makes me wonder how entities shall play with your mind when venturing downwards. Hoping NPC companions would help out as mental/morale support.
