Rising World

Rising World

Freeze time in the Unity version?
Is it possible to stop time in creative mode?
Always day, always night, sunrise, nightfall. It would be nice to save screenshots.

hey Walter, wanted to ask you already if you tried this version. Can´t wait what your creative mind can get out of this version :D

You can use the console command "settimespeed", which works like in the Java version: It determines the duration of an ingame minute (in realtime seconds), i.e. setting it to 60 means one ingame minute is 60 realtime seconds. Setting a high number (e.g. 1000) will almost freeze the time. However, it's just a temporary effect right now, since restarting the game will reset this value =/

We're working on a persistent setting for that :)

Surely it's only a config thing.
Have the settimespeed in the config for the save game and update the variable in the console from that value when the save game loads, along with all the other variables that load at the same time. It shouldn't really take much to implement that and make it persistent that way.

A new game would always have the default, but any saves will use the setting you manually updated.

Today I decided to pause my work to spend some time in Rising World.
I haven't built anything yet, but I will obviously share if I create something different. ^^

I tried, but it is limited to 13. In the Java version, I used to keep 3000 in creative mode.
Edit: For some reason (my fault, probably) it hadn't worked, but now it has. settimespeed 1000.

This was implemented in the Java version, but that solution wasn't really sufficient unfortunately... we still want to expose this to the game settings ^^ It's still not a lot of work, but we mostly focused on the building part for that update :D

Huh, what do you mean exactly with "13"? oO Actually there should be no limit, even higher values like 3000 should work (I've just tested it)?

I certainly typed something wrong, because the limit was 13. Are there any variables limited to the number 13?

Hmm... I can't remember any command having a particular limit of 13... maybe it was the "settime" command? The highest value it accepts is 23, maybe it was a 23 instead of a 13?

I've set the time speed to 65535 in both Java and New version, and that works. :104:
