How much can you control? Would like to see a wiki or something. Maybe someobdy has a link about the settings.
If you want them to appear during the day goto the config file and make;
game_npc_bandits_spawn_day=true
For other NPCs in the world you need to use a console command to spawn 'dummies'
( they are just that dummies that wander around and if there is any water deep enough drown in it! )
I have only used the single player RW so hopefully this helps with the server RW?
Welcome to Rising World.
There is no wiki yet but there is a link for Rising World Forum where you can post questions and find related info.

Have fun!
thanks
You are welcome @cpspok,
The RW forum may be right for you!

I can't personally help you much because I play single.
thanks

look for the area protection plugin. that will do the trick
but just some advise - in maybe 3 month the multiplayer update for the unity version will come. and that could already include a default area plugin. and my guess is that interest for playing on a server will be higher for the new version
and what unity update omg are they doing something big to the game cause we are loving this game .
thanks
It seems a little confusing to access the demo about the Unity version, what you need to do for giving a try is:
Go to Steam Library.
-Right click on Rising World in your Steam library -> Properties -> Betas -> select "New Version Preview" and wait until the download is ready.
When launching the game (from the library), a dialog shows up: Select "New Version" to launch the new version of Rising World.
Have fun!
The game will only get better. Yes they work since 1,5 years to move to unity engine. And what i can see until now is totally worth it.
Try what mag wrote and see for yourself.
I personally would wait with a public server until the unity is ready for it. As player count for java is quite down anyways at the moment and its, in my opinion, a shame ro invest tons of work to get a server running when in 3 to 6 month the new version will be released for mp and most people will play that.
The old version will still be playable though. And there will always be those who prefer that one. So just decide for yourself :)
Avanar is right, and in my honest opinion, I found very interesting to watch this chart.
