Rising World

Unable to get Reshade working with Rising World
I have been trying to test how Rising World looks with Reshade however i am not able to get reshade working.

My understanding is that you are supposed to access the reshade menu in the game using Shift and F2 or the Home key but neither works.

Any tips?

Did the game recognize your ReShade installation? When you open the game, does a text with the ReShade version appear at the top of the screen?
No....... there is no text at the top of the screen at all. I have used reshade in other games but it is not working with Rising World for some reason....... even though the reshade folder is in the Rising world folder.
The file d3d9.dll is in the folder Rising World.

The d3d9.log file states the following

If you are reading this after launching the game at least once, it likely means ReShade was not loaded by the game.

In that event here are some steps you can try to resolve this:

1) Make sure this file and the related DLL are really in the same directory as the game executable.
If that is the case and it does not work regardless, check if there is a 'bin' directory, move them there and try again.

2) Try running the game with elevated user permissions by doing a right click on its executable and choosing 'Run as administrator'.

3) If the game crashes, try disabling all game overlays (like Origin), recording software (like Fraps), FPS displaying software,
GPU overclocking and tweaking software and other proxy DLLs (like ENB, Helix or Umod).

4) If none of the above helps, you can get support on the forums at https://reshade.me/forum. But search for your problem before
creating a new topic, as somebody else may have already found a solution.

I have run as admin and as far as I can see there is no bin folder to put the files in and the game has never crashed or generated an error file.

When I press Shift and F2 I get a message saying flymode is not allowed....... because it is turned off in the settings.

Flymode is supposed to be when F2 is pressed so apparently it is ignoring that I have pressed the shift key as well.

Have tested the shift key and the key works.....

Just cant get reshade working..

Would you be able to post your reshade.ini file below as I am sure this is where the problem is.

Strange day today........ while trying to sort this out steam went offline .

Anyway, the good news is somewhere somehow I have managed to get Reshade 4.9.1 working.

I went back into Rising World and there it was at the top of the screen. Bit strange as I hadnt done anything since the last time I saw Shade was not working.

Now reshade.ini looks a whole lot better.

The ReShade binds conflict with the keys on the "construction" mode in Rising World. You need to go to the ReShade "SETTINGS" tab and modify. I changed to the numeric keypad.
