But you can make it shorter from beginning on of course.
Also you can make the grid bigger / smaller with + and -
Additionally you can use ctrl right to hold the preview beam/plank in place without holding the mouse button.
Then fine tone adjusting setting to 1 and use arrow keys and pgup/pgdown to bring it in place as you need it.
Thanks. I'm already aware of the grid and other ways of ajusting wood, I just wondered if we can cut corners off.
Another thing that would be nice is if we can rotate slabs to build a stone wall or a brick wall a lot thinner instead of them looking like the Minecraft-looking walls where they are too think.
I love the way we can build with wood and change the wooden materials to different shapes and sizes and rotate them about. I've gone into main details for my door frames ans window frames. A serving hatch I built in my kitchen wall also looks great. It's like being a carpenter with a computer.
It would be nice if we can rotate slabs to make thinner walls out of brick ,stone, cobblestone etc. The only thinner walls we can make that I make are thin wooden walls where I build the wooden beams and place boards on each side. It takes longer but it's fun and the results are epic.
I thought of using the wooden beams but I prefer to go into more detail and make the wall frames with some wooden beams and then add wooden boards to make the walls themsevles. It's just like when carpenters make plaster walls except I'm using wooden boards intead of sheets of plaster boards.
