Map Commands
So I'm curious if there are any commands out there based around the map item at all. Specifically, any commands that would reveal a section of the map, or the entire map itself. Just curious as the map feature seems to still be semi-broken here and there, and is a little annoying sometimes (refresh button doesn't always seem to work, area around me not being revealed, etc.) Not game breaking at all, and I'm certain this feature will continue to improve with updates, but lazy me would love to see a sort of "spy satellite" feature that would reveal a large section of the map, or the entire map itself. This could prove to be very useful in a creative mode save. Again, not sure if this feature exists already, but if not it could certainly be a useful thing to add.

Not as you imagine it. Rising world has no pre-made maps. Each chunk gets created on the fly when exploring it.

Therefore it's not possible to reveal it before you were there.

Refresh works fine for now but naturally only in your current chunk and directly surrounding ones

Also rw worlds are theoretically endless. The "whole" map can't be revealed due to this

I think no survival game in videogames history has a feature like the one you ask. Map is there for you to explore and to be updated as you explore the world. How can you draw something you've never seen? ;)

7d2d has such. The world gets generated in advance and is limited in size.

The forest as well. It's a static world

The Forest is not a procedural map.
And if you talk about 7D2D well, you can do that, but you're talking about cheating. Well, you can teleport in RW too, with console commands then. But i consider that as cheating.

Cheating was not the point. Read the op. He asked for some commands
