Can you create a farm underground?

Can you create an underground farm so you dont have to keep running to the surface to get food?

I believe so yes, would it be realistic? Not really, unless maybe you put "grow lights" in.. idk.

In the long run, the requirements will most likely change, but it should always be possible to have an underground farm (even if you have to care for watering and enough light sources)

This is how Empyrion handles it. You can grow food anywhere, even in a spaceship, as long as you have growing plots and grow lights.

I have a tree growing in a cave that's been there for about a year. the cave entrance got paved over during construction but the cave is still there, and the tree is alive and well. ; )

I would be interested in the outcome of this project too. Even when I am not a WoW-Player

Lol I'd participate if a group did it. I can't spend that kind of time on it alone tho. That would take a lifetime to go properly.
Plus I mostly play this game when I have a rainy day work my niece.
She loves building and creating.
