[Plugin] Animal Breed Master
Do you have the desire to breed animals? How about doing it in a survival oriented manner? Then this plugin is for you! It's highly recommended by me, and my buddies.

https://forum.rising-world.net/thread/6605-plugin-animal-breed-master-v0-1-viehzuchtmeister-v0-1/?postID=49580#post49580

Sharing the fun because of how awesome it is until Red51 manages to code breeding into the game itself. I'm loving what's already added, even how it handles in certain ways. You farm food, you use the stockpile you have on the animals, and you gain more animals in return. You can (survival oriented) repopulate the world in a helpful manner. You gain more animals to spawn while even being able to rename them using paper. Remember how you had to have a rolling pin to beat cows into a fenced in area? You use that gag/joke item to have them follow you around as they teleport behind you to a necessary area.

I love how cute the "yum! Yum!" messages are. Even how polite the animals are by saying "thank you!", and etc. Nice! You're even notified via chat when another animal is born.

------------

I'm now expanding my chicken farm thanks to this plugin. I had to search a bit far (10 & 20 minutes distances) to start breeding them using watermelon seeds and pumpkins. My only complaint is that chickens should have a bigger variety, as with others, to eat. Chickens should also eat corn cobs for their seeds. They love seeds, yet told they can eat anything.

My 'Brisko Chicken Farm' with astro-turf bottom, and a stairway on either side. Even a viewing area to make sure the doors are not a place for them to hide.

Yeah, the issues with this mod being how you name them tends to bug out. It freezes up that you have to exit out & reload the plugin that a better confirmation screen is needed. Another bit being

--------

Suggestions to Red51:

- Carry chickens in your arms to simplify traveling process. Not just chickens, but anything you can carry. Logs, Campfire, and anything that you can actually hold in your hands, and etc. Look at Medieval Engineers.

- Rope item: Even if it's decorational. Could have the rolling pin (a.k.a 'Noodle') be partnered up with a rope, or even swapped out to be a rope, or even give rope some light functions as a climbing rope as people forget they desired such. This is so this plugin can use rope as a 'placeholder' instead of a 'noodle'.

- Work in more baby animals so 'Machette' can somehow birth baby animals to mature into adult versions. The baby pig needs to be able to mature into an adult big, even if it's swapping entities. Let's have chicken lay eggs to then have chicklettes grow into adult chickens.

----------

Great plugin! A void is filled in, and in a fun survival oriented unexpected fun way! More life to this game! :)

Thank you for the recommendation here on steam!:steamhappy:
I am very, very happy, I did not expect that you like it so much!

I'm trying to keep up, more tiny features are planned!

THANKS!!!

This plugin is awesome! A absolute game-changer. If only the animals stayed in fences better, or even at all!

You're very welcome! It was a big surprising fun shock for us all. I'm loving it! It was love at first sight that I wanted to add it in straight away, yet tried to be polite asking if anybody wanted it. They did, and now we're having a lot of fun. It brought unexpected fun to the server! I love it!

This plugin (not mod) is now forcing me to grow crops that I've ignored because they served no other use. I'm now going to have to create an even larger farm plot on the other side of my farm house to grow more potatoes, pumpkins, and etc. Becaues the demand is there I now have to grow more food types.

I now need to open up a restaurant again so I can feed people the supply of chicken and the food supply. I'm overflowing with corn! I have lots of watermelons (from the switch), and etc. You sparked an interesting supply and demand.

------------------

Another suggestion to Red51:

- Dry//Grilled Corn: A simple corn cob grilled on a BBQ/campfire to be 'dried' to be eaten. BBQ corn that both us & chickens could eat so Machette could also swap the chili peppers for dried corn of some sort. If not, I'll stick with chili peppers. I've so much corn that it's now crazy.

This mod is sparking an insane 'supply and demand' that we're asking for things we wouldn't have. Poor Red51 hahaha! Player Models & Animations should be the priority though.

You just got me on an idea! As I have just discovered, there is an already built-in area-selection-tool in the game.
After the rewarding system update I will have a look if it is suitable for me.
Idea is to mark an area where the animals stay in then...
...just an idea

So, we could mark a area, and the animals cannot leave the area?

We could have a zoo then. Very nice. xd

Oh! Reward items! For each animal you breed you get points. Once you breed aroudn 60 animals you can start getting various other animals to pop in. I'd love to get myself a fox, one that even listens to me.

I'd happily try building a shrine in Rising World, but that'll have to wait till after my other major projects. Daboiye should be happy to have Tux, the Penguin gained naturally.

Machete, you're doing awesome!

----------

So, you breed one animal and it gives you 1 point. Not just that, but tame them & have them in other states of action also. Neat.

What kind of animals can I receive, and for how many points?
fox: 60 points
minipig: 100 points
penguin: 50 points
rabbit: 40 points
rat: 100 points

I wish Arctic Foxes were on that list (and in the game) because I'd then aim for having arctic foxes. Nice and fluffy arctic foxes. I feel the foxes also have to be 'reworked', or touches up. I want fluffy foxes heh.

I find it hilarious how you can spawn in mini-pigs. Rats also. I find it curious how snakes & spiders weren't added, but I guess that's for the best. They're not ready, and phobias are around.

Thank you for your praise! :)
I don't know yet wether it is balanced well, but I don't want it to be too hard to gather!
I would like to see some fishes, f.e. koi or other ornamental fishes, and turtles like the red-eared slider! It would be wonderful to build a beautiful pond with some life in it!

Snakes & spiders are not on the reward list yet, because they are aggressive.
But rats are really neat!

Oh, and I am missing dogs and wolves. Imagine you have some guard dogs, protecting you and your properties! (or just throwing sticks for them)

Oh, that be awesome. I'm hoping that with the next 'Player Model & Animation Update' that we can import custom models which can borrow animations from other entities in the game, or even read from animations provided with the model in some manner. That way you could have your Koi, fishes, and etc....even my 'arctic fox' pet. We'd all be extremely happy like kids in a candy shop.

I wish these animals would behave like pets, something that Red51 may have to tweak first to then have plugins tweak it further, yeah. Being able to find random items for you, help sniff things out, or whichever. Even being able to play a simple game of fetch, playing with things, or even giving pet toys to them to mess about with, or whichever. If they're able, even fight off hostile mobs, or warn you of any in the area that you can weave around/between them.

I feel guilty for saying this, just that it may have to rely on Red51 for fish models, and what we desire to be added. Everything that was mentoned may have to rely on Red51. Some basic models to be modeled up, animated, then "us" to play with.

Yeah, I'll do more testing with the plugin on my days off that we'll see where it ends up. I'll have to test out the point system and such. I don't run an economy plugin because it's not that necessary so I'm happy with this plugin having a reward of its own. I'll see about taming a fox in time, and such.

Understandable with snakes & spiders. We'd probably need pet snakes & spiders, maybe even 'cuter appearing", or something. Spiders freaks me & everybody out because I have nasty experiences with spiders. Not snakes. Snakes are fine, but spiders scares the hell out of me. Anything bigger than a Canadian quarter is labeled a threat to me. They get massive, and I hate that.

Dogs & wolves would be awesome, yet assuming that may be during or after the next update. Now that it's mentioned who knows if Red51 shall add them in. When, if, and how. If you could treat them like mooses to then have them buddy-buddy you. Humans & wolves can indeed co-exist. They only attack for territory & hunger that they're also curious.

Dealing with wolves shall be fun :)

Sorry for wall of text. I'm just too excited again because Rising World is a beast of a game. So much we can have fun with.
