Let me sum it up for you.
Both SP and MP got upgrades
DX12 Ultimate + Direct Storage + Async Compute
Ray Traced Global Illumination
Ray Traced Shadows
Ray Traced Reflections
Ray Traced Ambient Occlusion
DLSS and FSR support
Dualsense haptic trigger and feedback support
Fixed a ton of graphical glitches and flickering as well as stuttering
Runs almost twice as fast in rural wilderness areas
Runs better overall than the Legacy version
MP got all these upgrades and GTA+ subscription support, new items that weren't on PC yet, and a bunch of other stuff I can't rememmber off the top of my head.
The disadvantages I can think of are that if you want to switch the variant of the game to play, you can only transfer your save from Legacy to Enhanced, not the other way around. Also, the huge backlog of mods available of the game is probably not going to be compatible at all with Enhanced as nearly all files differ.
i want to know too, not much of a multiplayer person on this game, always best to get feedback and info from real players rather than promoted online material
true thoughts, real feedback from the community, not just the goods but also the bads
and this save file bug that doesnt go into the enhance edition doesnt sound promising
also why did they release a enhanced version? what was the purpose, is it to promote GTA6, that game doesnt need promotion as it will be the automatic no 1 game that everyone on this planet will buy
Yea I am not sure I want to play the remaster and ride out the new bugs if there isn't any content.
I have the ray tracing too and lost not so many fps. Old version is like 120 fps and now 90 with all maxed.
The biggest differences I've noticed (aside from it just looking nice and making me want even better from GTA VI) are with audio events. Conversations and things that slip out of pedestrians, primarily. I've heard commentary and jokes about more recent socio-political events and such as that. Some of it is downright hilarious. So I find it somewhat refreshing to be hearing crap I either ever noticed or whatever.
