My final objective was to return to the landing area but strangely the ship didn't show up. Is this some kind of glitch?

Wow I haven't saw that never before. Try to stay close to the clif... maybe you spect see the ship to far of the surface that probably must activate the program to finish the mission. I can't imagine other explanation sorry. If that doesn't work you probably will need repeat all, and that sucks since that chapter is hard... But trully I haven't that issue never before. That is strange. Are you totally sure that the other goals are compleat?

Yeah. Had no choice but to cheat and enter laskip to go to the next mission. Maybe I'll try replay that mission later, hoping it won't happen again.

currently stuck w no ship ad well, retoured the map upping secrets to 77% and killing everything.
only objective not lit up is return to landing area
attempted to go on the edge and found the semi-secret samnmax secret (map draw of are looks quite like mr crazy bunny ;p)

It's a bug. Perhaps due to cpu cycles. If you can repeat this issue I'd LOVE to talk to you as it seems to happen randomly.

Your own option is to replay the map or as mentioned earlier type LASKIP (lowercase) to go to the next mission.

As mentioned earlier. Known timing issue with the Dark Trooper script triggers. I know you are on PS1 but The Force Engine has a save option so you can retry parts of the mission without starting all over.
