Game Won't Launch - OS X

I'm having trouble getting the game to launch. Doesn't seem like a Steam-wide issue since my other games aren't having any issues. I just bought it today and everything's all installed, but it just won't launch. I get the "preparing to launch window", the game says it's running in my library, then everything hitches and it goes back to "ready to play."

Anyone else have this issue?

Ive had it for awhile but ever since the new update i have bin having the same problem.

well I have managed to get it work. For some strange reason (wtf developers?) shell script is using dos line endings so what you have to do is open "start_osx32.sh" file in the game directory and copy the content into the new file, then delete the old one and new file rename to the original name. I hope you understand my quick fix :)

This is the same file? How to replace

i replaced it but then steams says there is a mistake in the files

ok im in the folder and there are 3 files: osx, linx, and win what to do
