Worth in 2020 ?

Hello ! is move or die worth buying in 2020 ? i mean people still active in 2020 ?
I was thinking of buying it and I want to know if I can still play online, it takes a long time to find a match, etc.

They support it well, game is currently at the end cycle of an event which seems to have went on since just after xmas where all players are working there way to contribute to a progress bar which represents us graduating, there have been rewards along the way including a few themed characters and trails. A bar of soap character also made its way into the game during Covid 19 lockdown.

The above is pretty typical of the developers, there's a little moral message about sticking in with studies and graduating because it will be worth it. Previously they had an update about global warming with wildlife characters bearing the scars of it. Just at xmas they ran an event where they showered up with bizarre gifts typical of the devs humour. Theres a penguin character in the game expressing their disgust for key resellers...although they really missed a trick not naming the poop character Geetwoaye.

I've seen people calling them SJWs before over the above on feeds but I like it personally, that and people that use terms like SJW are generally wastes of space or wains.

In regards to playerbase there's a ticker if you like which pops up in the menu alerting of requests for players and it pretty active, the ingame chat system is pretty active as well, I'd punctuate that by saying though connection quality of some of these games varies wildly and will affect your game experience, it also has spotty performance (not system spec related) on some systems IMO due to the game engine.The steam workshop is fantastic, still very active as well.

For me its worth it, if remote play works with it you might be able to invite friends that dont own the game make up a room that way as well.

It couldnt be more fun late night with friends to chill and play with. By yourself not as fun best when played with friends :)

its totally worth it, its a fun little game with a bunch of mini games in it also super easy to play :)

Don't even think about buying it ; i was in a contribtion loop bug for 8 months ; Freaking 8 months and i have even posted a post about this bug and the devs didn't care for it .

Sorry that you still encountered this issue, but we did heavily investigate it, released a patch on a separate branch so that players affected by this issue test that it works, pushed the update and continously monitored it.

We haven't had reports through our ticketing system, besides those that haven't logged in a while and are going through previous unlocks, which can take some time to push through.

no, i haven't been logging cause the problem persisted FOR STRAIGHT 8 MONTHS and i did do a post about it and there has been many complaints but no dev has contacted me until now

but if you insist on submiting a ticket 'again' fine. By you guys should probably work on fixing bugs rather then doing anthor update .

buy it but only if you have friends. Nonetheless, i got like 42 hours of playing with random people, but since I live in LATAM, connection is really bad. So yea, if you have friends yes, if you don't then nope

For the small few that might still be affected by this issue, this was the fix:

Going into the %appdata%\LOVE\Move Or Die\ folder and then deleting the DCRewards file.
