No Disc Error After Update

Alright, I'm on Windows Vista 64, and I have an integrated graphics card. I bought the game yesterday.Started up fine, all the cinematics played, I get to character creation, and the textured looked blurry and the faces didn't display properly. Google, blah blah...manually updated directx, my graphics card, and patched to 1.03. Now it's asking me for a CD. Blah blah blah Google...pirate No CD crack...Are there any other solutions that can fix both problems at once?

Do you have an Intel integrated card? If so, have you messed with the 3D settings on your card? If you have "Custom Settings" checked on the card, that will screw up the textures in the game. For the No Disc Error, just try deleting then reinstalling the game through Steam, I guess

I also bought the game yesterday and am having a similar problem. I am on Windows 8 with a Nvidia GT 650 M. I was attempting to change the games resolution to somthing playable via the widescreen UniWS mod. After patching to 1.3, when attempting to launch out of steam I recieve the error "No/CD DVD drive found". Any ideas?

Did you try running it without the widescreen mod? Imo, it looks perfectly fine without it. I've never had the No/CD error before... It sounds llike the widescreen mod might only apply to retail versions of the game.
