Character stops moving

Often when I play this game my character will stop moving. I can still use the other characters in my party and after a while I can switch to my main character again and he'll move. He will usually stop moving after I search a footlocker or something. Anyone know what is going on here?

No, but I've had the same problem from time to time. It could just be a glitch or something. It gets on my nerves when there's a particular character I want to take the lead, so I hope it doesn't keep happening too often.

I'm having the same issue at the moment. It's especially bad right at the beginning where you're having a segment with no other party members, so I'm forced to save and load, and yet it happens again almost immediately afterwards. I do hope they get around to resolving this issue at some point, it's incredibly annoying. Are you also running it on Windows 7?

Yes I am running Windows 7.

Just press TAB to switch to another character and the one who doesn't move will start moving in a while or just save and reload your save. Usually it happens after a battle or some action.

I am on widows 10 and I stop moving. Tiny Crust, will my charicter ever move again?

Just save and reload if that doesnt work i dont know.

I have had the same problem, save and load works (most of the time) so does going to a different character and going to another area. Example courtyard to grove, I find that helps.

My character kept getting stuck when i had unlocked the game to 144hz. Fixed it by going back to 60hz and enabling vsync to cap at 60 fps.

have to hold both mouse buttons down and hit f4 and it will unfreeze you, its a fiant pain in the ass but it works

I usually just hit pause button (space by default) and they start moving

Hello from 2024! This solved it instantly. I had also unlocked the game to 144Hz as part of making the game run better with my 2K monitor; while it looked great, it wasn't worth the movement issues.
