tattoine sandpeople problem
I know tuskan raiders is the politically correct term but you will hafta forgive me in my frustration.

I got the hunting license and everything but I lose about every other group of sand people who attack me. is there a reason I am suddenly so weak after the fishy planet?

I didn't kill a lot of the sith there because they would kill me and I ended up being just fine while avoiding them

did I go to the wrong planets first?

I'm gratefull for any advice.

Usually Tatooine is my first stop, but you shouldn't have any problem with defeating any enemy as long as your party is well equipped and you've leveled up your character well. What difficulty are you playing on? What class/level is your main character? Do you keep everyone equipped with the best gear you can? All of these are questions that you should ask yourself, and if you're still losing after rectifying everything you can, I have no idea how to help. I can tell you it's nothing to do with the game itself for sure.

I am on normal. I am a level 5 jedi consular level 8 soldier when most of my allies are level 12. Ikeep them well equiped and I search for gear. I'm gonna try to go back to dantooine and see if I can grind on something.
I had a hard time with the sand people that attack you if you get to close to the piles of trash in the desert, so I avoided those. The ones that guard the enclave, I found very easy, however.

do you think my level is about right?

Akinelli. I just tried again and I beat the sand people at the enterance. I guess I assumed the ambushing sand people were of the same difficulty. It's a big big help. thank you soo much.

The reason I found out for this is most of the wild sand people that randomly engage you are Sand People Raider Elites. They constantly pose a threat til about lvl 15 or at least thats how it was with me. Just try to get as good of gear as you can and remember to visit the Yavin Space Station the guy there sells some awesome armor and great weapons.

do you think I should be buying weapons? I have been focusing on buying medpacks but now that I have force heal they are kinda worthless. I also found that the best drops came from bosses.

how does the game decide the difficulty of a enemy based off of what planet they are from? do the enemies get harder for the number of planets you visit after dantooine or are they allways the same strength?

If you're having a hard time getting through an area you can just lower the difficulty too easy for the part you're having trouble on! Also, through Tatooine, it would be a good idea to have a jedi with you who can spam their heal force ability (hopefully you've upgraded this first). Also, a good force ability to have is the movement speed for it gives you extra hits and builds up A LOT of damage and you get to move around quicker. A good combo for Tatooine that I always used was Zaalbar and HK (with myself as the one with heals) or Zaalbar and Bastila when fights became heavy. You will need HK later on to complete Tatooine.

I don't remember having any particular trouble with the random Sand People when I played through that area. Tattoine was also my second stop. I think it is more about what feats you have and how you have your character equipped than anything else. Sand people elite are much harder, as they actively use grenades.

Make sure you don't spam your "Critical Hit"'s and "Power Attack"'s. All of the special attack command have long and short term consequences so plan accordingly, especially since these guys are tougher. Oh, and the order you go to the planets doesn't matter.
