Fix for "Stuck after Combat"
So, having run into this many times, I natrually did some google searching around to see if there was a fix for this little annoyance. And it came up with no results. Everyone said to change your V-sync settings ingame and within the launcher settings, which didn't work. Others say to save and reload, which DOES work, but is tedius to do after every fight.

But I myself have stumbled across a way to get unstuck that hasn't failed *me* yet. It's so simple it's almost stupid!

Simply have a key mapped to "PAN CAMERA LEFT" or "PAN CAMERA RIGHT". After battle, when you notice yourself get stuck, simply hold forward and one of the pan camera keys at the same time without letting go for a few seconds, and after a full revolution or 2, it seems to release you.

Now, maybe this was patched somewhere offical or unofficial, and maybe this won't always work for everyone. But for some odd reason, it HAS worked for me every single time I've found myself get stuck. If there's anyone currently battling this issue, let me know how this solution works.

To elaborate on the points already made, V-sync works to fix this glitch when you have 60 Hz refresh rate selected (I believe). I just figured this out. I have a 144 Hz monitor and it only works when I have the screen in 60 Hz mode and V-sync on. My guess is that it's the number of frames counted in the code which accounts for not "letting go" of combat mode properly. This is why some people benefit from V-sync on (60 Hz native monitors), and others don't (they likely have higher native refresh rates). On systems where it works only sometimes, I believe it's the variability in framerate accounting for the hits and misses. I hope this works for everyone.

to fix the combat glitch, just enable V-Sync and Frame Buffer ;)

The problem with this fix is I had to disable frame buffer to keep it from crashing on win 10. Round and round we go.

Tab cycle through your group when it happens. Other characters dont get stuck - only the one selected. Walk as the newly selected into the next fight from where the bug might fix itself or you could always choose one of your minions before the fight ends i guess..^^

I fixed my issue by setting the framerate to 60fps. Game is probably not designed to handle more than that smoothly.

The solution I found was to quicksave by pressing F4, then quick load by pressing F5.

You don't even need the keybinding !
Just hold right-click and turn around a few times works too. Thanks!

This worked for me on Win10 and a 144 Hz monitor. Thanks!

V-sync or Frame buffer, either off or on still couldn't move.

Thanks for this, I played through almost the entire game trying to deal with this bug and I just couldn't do it
