Are we still getting a remake?

Last I heard they were not actively working on it. Wasn't officially cancelled.

There was a fan made remake that was using UE4 but they were forced to cancel it with a threat of lawsuit, then there was talks of them doing an official remake but that's been either cancelled too or put on indefinite hold til who knows when.

Seeing as elements were made officially canon from Old Republic stuff last year:

i would like a game in which we can play darth revan and build up his sith empire, would be nice to play and stick to the evil side in a star wars game for once + i love darth revan as a sith lord. :)

Latest news: Embracer Group sold off a bunch of assets, including the KOTOR remake. Saber is now making the remake.

its just on the backburner but its still being made. people heard that and flipped out a bit. still working on it but it will take a while
