Scroll abilities powers and cosumables

I played this game many years ago. is it not possible to use scroll wheel to select things from the...slots? the 3 slots in combat and the 4 on bottom right (consumables)
it's annoying if i have to click on the up/down arrow every time

Not possible sadly.

It is possible with the community patch, I suppose? It works for me at any rate and I have that installed. Check the guides section.

You have to hover over the slot and then use the scroll wheel. Alternatively, you can hit "Shift + <number>" to cycle through your options. For example, if you wanted to cycle through your medical supplies, hold "Shift" then hit "5".
