Missing dialogues when solving a murder case on Dantooine

Hello,
I've got a problem with the murder case quest on Dantooine, while doing the Jedi trials.

The quest is supposed to be just a talk-through in between several characters and revealing the killer (-s). Thing is, after the first "round" of talking (finding out why were suspects there in the first place), I'm supposed to find out about the relationship of suspects to a victim. The Jedi master there tells me to go find out about it and the second "round" of dialogues should start. When I go talk to suspects though, I only have the dialogues from the first round available, making it impossible for me to finish the second round and therefore the quest.

Now, it's just a side-quest and I can just leave the crime scene and forfeit it, but just upon leaving, the Jedi Master tells me that he will have to inform the council that I lacked the wisdom to solve the case and it's just f*cking insulting and I got stuck there because no Twi'lek shall just imply that I'm dumb and live to tell the story.

Anyone knows of any possible fix please?


As far as I know I'm not running any dialogue mods or even any mods whatsoever but it's been a while since I last played it and I cannot vouch for it.

Keep talking to everyone, including the droid, and inspecting the body.

I remember this quest being really tricky.. I failed it the first time I played KOTOR on the xbox but I refered to a guide when I later played it on the PC and it worked out fine.

He is right i dont have the diolog for richard about the relationship with the guy who died and i know how to do it but its not there

I'm having a similar problem, but have not found any fix for it so far.
