important doors wont open on taris

im having issues with important things being locked like the cantina and elevator to the undercity on taris. please help?

Are you trying to unlock them, rather than just opening them? Clicking on them like any other door will suffice; I don't even know why the security option is there.

The door to the undercity is intentionally locked until you get the sith uniform. If you have it, you have to talk to the guard
The door to the cantina is locked if you have equipped the sith uniform.

have them its just the doors to the cantina in the upper city and yes i had the uniforms but they still wouldnt open the elevator doors.

You need to talk to the soldier while wearing the Sith uniform to get into the elevator.

Just to clarify what's been said before - you can't access the upper city cantina whilst wearing the sith uniforms.

And you can't access the lowercity elevator if you are NOT wearing the sith uniforms when talking to the guard. They must be being worn, not just in your inventory.

If you mean the UNDERCITY, which is beneath the lower city, uniforms won't work, you will need the required paperwork. If you don't have this, you need to talk to go to the Hidden Bek base and talk to some people.

I hope someone's still watching this topic - I get the "impossible" message when I try to get into Jayvar's Cantina. None of the walkthroughs mention that any special circumstances must be met, so I was wondering if this is a game bug....

Did you just click it? You can't unlock cantinas; it's a pointless option.

Thanks! I saw the shiny "unlock" box option and it hadn't occurred to me to just click it.

No problem. It's kind of dumb that there's even an option to unlock those doors.
