Menu and dialogue text missing

Updated my (NVIDIA) graphics drivers yesterday and now the text in the menu and dialogue is gone. Before, the game worked properly after disabling movies and frame buffer, now nothing. Does anyone have any ideas as how to fix this? thank you in advance. Running on win 7.

Come to think of it, the resolution seems to have reverted back from widescreen as well.

Have you still got the GUI fixes in your override from having widescreen? If so removing them will fix that.

To the best of my knowledge I have removed them. But since I made a lot of changes and that was a while back, I'm not sure. I guess I'll try the bottom-up approach instead and re-install everything and start from there again. Thank you for your help.

2021 fix I was having A similar issue were certain dialog boxes were missing primarily relating to objects I went in settings under graphics and advanced options and turned on v-sync and that fixed it

I hope this helps someone now I’m really wishing Disney will let obsidian make another nights of the old republic game and yes I know The first one was made by BioWare but I always liked the second one better

just a heads up. as well as trying the vsync option(which didnt work for me, had to search for pics of the menus to even find it since all my text was missing), if you have sith lords restored content mod, find it on your steam in community, unsubscribe and re subscribe which re-installs it which then fixes all the missing text. something gets rekt every time my drivers update
