Crash on leviathan.

Dunno why but i missed the train with Kotor, although i'm a starwars and bioware fan, so i decided to give it a try, but now what do i do. I played through the game despite the old mechanics, despide the camera sucks, and the worlds are kinda meh and deserted.

But i'm losing focus...Possible spoilers!!!
-every time i try to open the cell doors on the Leviathan mission, it crashes suddenly. Looked for solutions online, nothing. Lowered resolution, tried the lowest settings, tried different character selection, nothing works.

Wanted to continue with Kotor2, but at this point, i think i'll just give up. :(

i'm having the same problem. tried multiple characters and settings.

use the lowest resolution, pass that area, then go back to full HD or whatever you use ;)

setting compatibility mode to windows vista worked for me. thanks for the help man

I had the same exact problem and no amount of graphics downgrading seemed to work.. Then I tried selecting the "open sell doors" option and NOT SKIPPING to the cutscene – and what do you know – after a short while the cutscene began and now I'm roaming the Leviathan as my main character again!

For me, i think by the end, solution was to set the game to run on just one core, and also deactivating my second screen. Buuuut, i encountered a lot of other game breaking problems, so i gave up. It wasn't fun anymore.

Don't give up man this game is amazing :) Who knows maybe Bioware make a remastered version kinda like they upgraded kotor 2 with widescreen and hd but I doubt it since EA owns them and doesn't remake games or remaster

For future reference, disabling Vsync worked for me.
