Sand People Robes Problem

So I'm playing light side and running about the Tatooine desert looking for some robes to make my way into the San People compound. But for some reason, none of the groups that have ambushed me have dropped any robes at all. Does anyone know of a way for me to fix this?

Did you approach the passage that leads to the sand people anclave location? If yes and still found no robes then I believe you could add one to your inv via console. Type: additem tat17_sandperdi 1

Where exactly do i type this?? I'm having the same problem. I have defeated several groups of sand people and cannot get any of their robes!! I have clicked on every part of the bodies and no blue target appears at all!

You don't get robes from the small groups of 3 Sandpeople who ambush you, you get them from the large group at the entrance to the Sandpeople Enclave (past the sandcrawler).

I've never needed to use the console so can't help you with that, sorry.

Kill the Sandpeople Warriors in front of the passage to South Dune Sea for the robes and make sure you have HK-47 in your group when you go to the Sand people Villiage!!!

I'm having the same problem as many here. I played this on PC years ago, not on steam every time I kill the Sandpeople approaching the Sand crawler, they leave no robes. They did when I played in on CD ROM 8 years ago. Is this a glitch with steam? I do notice the option to search the bodies in the second wave of Sand People, but when I click on the bodies to do it, either nothing happens or my character sees the next wave of attackers. This is frustrating. I also killed wave after wave of sand people coming out of their enclave, still no robes. Please help.

Like 'Cracker' said above, you don't get any robes from the Sand People who attack in threes or the groups that attack the Sandcrawler. There is a group at the south Dune Sea (when you leave anchorhead it's kinda straight down and to the right) that continuously appear for a bit so you get a bunch of robes (and gaffi sticks to trade for money) and you can get more when you enter the Sand People territory (for this, I recommend donning the Sand People robes, but keeping your personal weapons). Also, if you just want the experience points, you can go to the Sand People enclave without HK-47 and attack them all without earning any light or dark side points.

Only the elite warriors drop robes (and bantha fodder, too). There's usually 1 elite in each ambush group; there's none at the sandcrawler.
Either get ambushed by approaching scrap piles (there's also a group that spawns literally on top of the wraid), or as others have said, go to the entrance to the sand people territory and fight the 8-12 of them there -- they all drop robes.

Yeah, you guys were right. I got the robes from the Sand People near the enclave. I was remembering it differently.
