Sunry Murder Trial

Ok, so on Manaan, is there a way to prove that the Sith framed Sunry after I have completely wiped out the Sith Embassy? There is a "mysterious stranger" that tells me to check out the Repub and Sith embassies. I can't find any option to ask the Repub people about Sunry. And I can't ask any Sith cause I wiped out their base. Have I messed this mission up? I had a second saved game at the start of the planet, but it totally glitched out on me. Any help would be appreciated.
