Want to join an assassin fraternity? Having trouble with Tach glands?
I know many people have had issues with the Tach glands needed for Mission's brother and the czerka poachers on Kashyyyk. Sometimes players don't realize they have to use the glands later and the czerka guys are gone and they can no longer become hostile with the Tach. If you haven't already, there are Tach glands in the metal boxes in the czerka camp, this is the easy legit way get the glands. If you are trigger happy like me and took the boxes AND sold the ones from "harvest," then you sold them all for precious credits! Then you search for seedy, illegitimate ways to cheat quest items into your possession...

Here is the harder legit way to become hostile with the Tach once more, on Manaan there is an associate by the name of Hulas (I never knew about this until just this playthrough, 12 years later and still haven't found it all). Hulas is part of some assassin fraternity and gives you 4 bounty contracts to prove your worth, think about the consequences of your actions. One of the hits he gives you is a shapeshifter in the Kashyyyk forest near Jolee's hut. You should be able to figure it out from here. :steamflake:

The tach I killed here during this quest did not drop glands for some reason. I reloaded over and over and tried again and again. I wish I knew to keep the ones from the canister in the Czerka camp. Next time I guess, on my 101st playthough of this game. :)

you can't cheat tach glands in using the save game editor though. in the "master items" list there is *no* option to cheat tach glands in

As of 2019, I still don't see a way to kill tach, if you killed the czerka poachers immediately.

I already did the Rulan thing but no Tach dropped it's gland

Go to Jolee's hut on Kashand type in the following code on the cheat entry.
giveitem kas24_tachgland 1
it only seems to work if you are in the area you can actually pick it up.
