Windows 7 crash

Game always crashes when i start it. What can I do for safe start?

But if you do it dont go back to fullscreen mode or it will crash again, in my case anyway

Find the swkotor.exe file – right click it and open up Properties
Set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP

No compatibility modes have fixed it for me.

i hate that kid . sounds like he has marbles in his mouth. I just did fullscreenmode=0 and that was enough to work for me. try it

Same for me. Changing fullscreen from 1 to 0 did the trick... thus far :)

try to disable movies in swconfig. it will disable only intro movie

After making it windowed mode and still experiencing the crashing. This is the settings I changed to make it load the new game or saved game:

A) Changed the resolution to 1080x960 (might be different for which works for you)
B) Disabled V Sync
C) Disabled Frame Buffer Effects
D) Disabled Soft Shadows
