FIX: KotOR 1 on Windows 11 Black Screen Fix
Hey all,

I couldn't find anything on this myself for Windows 11 users but managed to find a solution via some experimenting myself. I was experiencing a crash to desktop despite the game still running, along with the taskbar from my second monitor being weirdly misplaced half-way on my main monitor as soon as I got to the main menu.
I have a dual monitor set up with my displays extended and ultimately found out that was the problem. So in running the game with only my main display active (no extended display on via the display settings), it ran fine.

BUT if you're like me, you probably would like to have that second screen active to check your Discord or your stream, maybe Google a thing real quick.

Well, I found during initial research that going to the game's .ini file in your installation folder and then scrolling to where you see Graphics Options in the .ini, setting Fullscreen to 0 and then adding "AllowWindowedMode=1" (no parenthesis of course) is the solution.

When you launch the game next, it should launch windowed.
Alt+Enter should allow you to switch between fullscreen and windowed (what I did is click the maximize button on the window, that works too).
With the game fullscreened from windows mode, it acts as a sort of borderless fullscreen mode. I can now move my mouse to the next screen freely and you should be able to also.

It should be noted that when you click to engage with anything outside of the game, it will minimize the game. Just click the icon on your taskbar to get it back once you're finished with anything external. It is recommend that you pause the game before moving over unless you don't mind the in-game camera spinning around your character endlessly while sending a Discord message.

Cheers, was wondering how to fix it. Tried re-installing it and verifying the cache, but works fine now after the ini file change.
