TOR does a really good job with being story based and having a lot of replayability, each class has their own interesting story with the same ability to choose between good and evil actions, regardless of which side you choose, and those choices do have some effect on the story, although not as much due to the fact that it's an MMO. They even do a good job of incorporating the events of KOTOR I and II, even going so far as to finish Revan's story and bring back two characters from the KOTOR games in one of the group based missions. I would definitely recommend playing it however, I would also suggest that you at least spend enough money to become premium (I believe it's $5 spent to become a premium member) because f2p have quite a few restrictions placed on them which can detract from the gameplay, these restrictions include not having access to the best equipment, limited crafting ability, fewer quick slot bars, limited access to group missions and pvp, and a currency cap. If you're playing purely for the story though these are easy to move past and will only be a minor inconvenience. All in all I would say it's a good game that's worth playing although it definitely has it's problems but for those who love a good story it's easy to over look, the only part so far that I can genuinely say I'm displeased with and that I would not recommend as a purchase was the first "expansion" which added very little in terms of story and failed to continue with a separate story line for each class, instead opting to have one story line for each faction which, although the added story was interesting, was not worth the money. Also, if you ever want to play a f2p MMO that is all around good and has a great story I'd suggest playing Lord of the Rings Online, the only restrictions f2p members have is a reduced currency cap that can be removed without having to pay any money, limited access to questing areas that can also be removed without spending any money, and limited pvp access that's gradually becoming less strict. The only problem is that, in order to not spend money on the aforementioned restrictions is that it requires a lot grinding although going with either the grinding method or just flat out paying money are both worth it.
