Can't proceed on Manaan. Stuck at Kolto Harvester

I got to the Kolto Harvester and Emptied the Injector into the Container several times over, fillinng it past the 4 pressure units to 5 pressure units, which should have exploded the Kolto Harvester allowing me to continue the storyline. This did not work. I even went back to the quest givers and returned to the machine, but this did not work. If I go forward the giant fish is waiting to eat me. How can I solve this? Do I need to reload a much earlier save?

I had the same problem and so being impatient I just used the poison instead

Are you sure you are doing it right? IIRC you have to get the container unit to exactly 4 for it to explode.

It's a while since I played but I think the sequence is fill injector - transfer to container - fill injector - transfer to container - empty container - transfer injector to container (should be 1 unit) - fill injector - transfer to container - BOOM!
