Controller support?
I noticed KOTOR 2 got a massive update this year for controller support and everything but what about this game? Is controller support available here?

There is no control support. But if you have the steam controller you can bind the keys.. I recently just bought the steam controller for a few games. And this game works great with the steam controller just downloaded the template from the steam community.

Been used to console controllers this is the best solution. Plus it will work on all steam games. Just takes a bit of getting used to.

That's good to know. I'm not particularly anxious to play it right now so perhaps I'll pick up a Steam controller in the future when I am. I just bought Kotor 2 and so far it seems like a decent game. I'll have to give it more time to make a better judgement, though.

I personally think the first kotor was way better but that is personal opinion

I've heard that time and time again. I'll have to see if I even like KOTOR 2 enough before I begin to think about the first one.

what? kotor follows a story man so your going to get major spoilers if you play kotor 2 before kotor 1

LOL I've already had KOTOR 1 spoiled for me. Doesn't even matter. -_-

Seems rather cheap that only KOTOR II got controller support. Why only that one and not both? I have a Logitech Gamepad F310. I do not want to be forced to buy a Steam controller.

There are some programs that can help you bind the keys to the gamepad. Personaly I think the steam cntroller is well worth getting.

I don't know what programs like that are safe to use, and I am not a tech or programming expert.

I agree. I never understood why they would do that considering how much love the original still gets today.

Yes. Its a great game. I'm slowly figuring out how to play KOTOR with a keyboard, but its still a pain in the ass.

That's the main reason I bought KOTOR 2 first. I have no problem playing games like FPS or an occasional strategy with a mouse and keyboard but not a game like this or anything else. Ruins the whole experience for me.

I seem to have a problem with the very beginning when you play as the Exile. If the camera thing is set one way, it will spin around the Exile and I can't move her. If its the other way, I just can't move her and the view is fixed at about eye level.

Get Controller companion on steam its like 3 bux. Then subscribe to a configuration on the workshop and you're ready to go. Here's mine: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=590062064
