Also, stats depend on what you want to do - The big question is the number of skill points you want, influenced by your intelligence. If you're happy with 4 points per level as scout and 1 point per level as guardian, then int 10 is enough - If you want 5 and 2, you'll need int 14. (unlike in other games, extra skill points are gained at int bonus /2 so 14 int grants just 1 extra point, instead of giving 2, and 12 int doesn't do anything.).
The next question depends on if you're going to use Str and heavy armour, or Dex and robes. Dex and robes are better in the end game, because many good force powers (like speed) are restricted by armour. I find Dex the superior choice anyway, because Dex raises both your to-hit chances with sabers (but not with swords - it is unknown if sabers benefiting from high dex is a bug or a feature) and also raises your defense.
The more you raise your stat at the character creation, the more points it costs - from 8 to 14 it's 1 point per 1 point of stat, 15 and 16 is 2 points per 1 point of stat, and 17-18 is 3 points per 1 point per stat. 14 is often preferred, because it grants you the most stat points overall, but there's no shame in sacrificing a few points from a few stats to get your dex to 16, for example.
You aren't likely needing lots of points in charisma/wisdom - these raise the DC of your force powers, but as a guardian you should likely focus on buffing powers more than on offensive powers. Do remember that Will save is the weak save of Guardian, so wisdom is likely a bit more important than charisma.
I would go for something like
str 12
dex 16
con 12
int 14
wis 12
cha 10
Or, for a bit more damage and 1 more hp per level, take dex to 14 and raise str and con to 14.
Though personally, I always prefer to play sentinel or consular instead of Guardian, because I like to have more skill points.
Also, you get 5 attribute points during the game: at levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20. Many implants and equipment can raise your stats too (I mainly focus on dex, to get more AC and AB)
