Was Malak A Weak Villain?

This game was actually great, just finished it and loved most of it, but I thought the one thing it did badly was the villain. Malak was about as white bread as Star Wars villains can get, and the boss fight with him, at least for a low vitality sith caster was complete hell.

Out of curiousity, how long did it take you to finish the game?

What difficulty did you play on, and were you using cheats? ...cause Malak is actually hard as ♥♥♥♥. except on easy mode, where he was programmed to be a complete pushover, so you can get the jolly good "I DID IT AND IT WASN'T HARD AT ALL" feel.

i played on the hardest difficulty and malak was a pushover compared to the last yavin fight

He's not talking about the difficulty. He's talking about the character and his motivations. Malak was a typical cackling, moustache twirler.

Malak's problem is that he isn't half as cool or interesting as Darth Revan would have been.

Approx. 40 hours. Took my time listening to dialogue, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around in minigames, and soaking up the atmosphere.

No no, the boss fight was a ridiculous difficulty spike, especially if you were a dummy like me and you put all your stat points into charisma. Took me three seperate save scum files to beat him on the hardest difficulty. I just meant that compared to the other main characters, he is very one dimensional and uninteresting.
