Keltale, if you need to redo the fight just ignore Calo, spam grenade Davik, then finish him of with melee weapons. You only need to defeat Davik, not Calo.
If you have a lot of grenades than yeah, you could kill Calo so he is not shooting you in the back. If you have no grenades it would make more sense to hold out with med-packs and well placed attacks and kill Calo first, but if you have several it makes more sense to just kill Davik with them, because killing Davik is what activates the cutsceen.
If my memory is correct killing Calo does not activate the cutsceen. That is why everyone says to kill Davik first if you can.
Well it does for me. I can't say for sure about the original disk version since it is years since I played that but reducing Calo's health sufficiently does trigger the cutscene in the Star Wars Best of PC compilation version I currently use (it is the original game set up to run under Vista rather than XP but I don't think they changed any of the gameplay).
Oh, you know what you are right, because Calo with pull out the thermal detonator after his health gets low enough. I forgot about that.
But maybe the reason I always killed Davik was because he was easier to kill?
