Otherwise, if you'd like to get all the companions as quickly as possible go for Kashyyk, Tattooine, Manaan and Korriban. This particular order should allow to cover pretty much everything, as long as you continue to talk to your party and explore. You'll get enough credits by the endgame regardless and the Geno-Haradan quests should balance out for a light-sided character fairly well. Note that this may prevent you achieving the full light-side bonus.
Best of luck for the new playthrough.
Kashyyk to get Jolee and cue Bastila and Mission's sidequests. Those sidequests take place on Tatooine where you also get HK47 and can cue Jolee's sidequest. Tatooine also is where I buy the last few +/- pazaak cards to complete my side deck. Then to Manaan to do Jolee's sidequest and cue Carth and Canderous's sidequests.
After leaving Manaan you would be captured by the Leviathan and Bastila leaves your party. A major reason for leaving Korriban to last is that Bastila won't leave the Ebon Hawk on Korriban so by leaving it to last you can use her on all three other planets.
Korriban completes Carth's sidequest and should trigger Juhani's. Quick runs to Manaan for Juhani's sidequest and Tatooine for Canderous's (and to deliver the box for Lurze) and off to Yavin for the final time.
You would need to do Manaan earlier to get to full LS after doing the Genoharadan quests.
Visit Suvam Tan at Yavin between each main planet. Once you have acquired a pazaak deck with a good spread of +/- cards play pazaak with him. Once you win 10 games (doesn't matter how many you lose but I will admit to reloading if I lose too many, I aim to break even against him) he gives you a discount on his stuff.
To be able to afford the crystals you want that discount but beyond that buy carefully and sell most of what you acquire.
If you choose to kill the big firaxian sea beast on Manaan you get thrown off the planet and can't go back (which will affect the Genoharadan quests if you haven't finished them and blocks Juhani's personal quest if you haven't killed Xor already). So don't go down to the underwater base if you are playing dark side until you are ready to finish with Manaan. If you take the light choice there is no problem.
Once you have found three Star maps after Dantooine your next flight results in capture by the Leviathan and being told Dantooine is destroyed so you can't go back there after the Leviathan. Easy to either do everything in the Shadowlands of Kashyyk, just don't activate the computer, or on Tatooine you can do the area outside Anchorhead and the Sand People Enclave, just stay out of the Eastern Dune Sea.
Senni Vek, the guy who gives you the datapad for Genoharadan, only triggers after you collect Tatooine starmap though....
He triggers after one star map, which can be Kashyyk or Tatooine. That's why I suggested leaving one or the other of those two until you are ready to trigger the Leviathan.
Right just making sure. It all worked out.
Hmm... those you convert to the light side... are you talking about Sith on Korriban?
