Kotor App Store --> Steam

Hi guys,

I bought Kotor on the App store (I didn't use Steam at the time). Do I have to buy it again on Steam or is it possible to enter a key or anything to show that I already own a version of the game ?

They're two separate purchases, so you'll have to buy it again on Steam.

sadly cross-buy isn't implemented anywhere yet. everybody wants money.

i think you are better off playing with the android version. you can always broadcast your phone screen onto your computer and play it that way.

My phone doesn't even run Chrome properly... I'll just stick to my version and buy it on Steam when it'll be 50% off :-)

If you do have a key, try it - click "+ ADD A GAME..." at the bottom left of your steam window, then "Activate a Product on Steam..." and put your key in. If it works, you have your steam version, woo! If it doesn't, all you've lost is maybe 30 seconds, no biggie.

Unfortunately the App Store doesn't provide any keys... ! :(
Well it doesn't matter, it was just to be able to download it for my PC as well (playing on a macbook is nice only to pass time, otherwise it sucks).
