STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™

Not enough feats?
I'm a level 10 Scout who picked Guardian. Don't remember which level but i can say that i didn't bother with the holding off leveling to go jedi because I didn't know of it before now. I found out the level cap was 20 which surprised me greatly, and seeing how I never seem to get any feats each time i level up I'd like to know exactly how many feats I have left. I'd like to know because if the answer depresses me, I feel like i might as well just start the game over. Thanks.

According to feats progression table there, you have 4 feats remaining.

Thanks. I decided to start again, holding off leveling until I've reached Dantooine choosing feats more carefully. Thanks regardless though.

You could have just downloaded the KotOR save game editor to rearrange your feats, taking note of the total number beforehand.

The trick is to not level with exception of getting to the escape pods. use grenades and blasters until you get to the jedi stuff, then use all the levels. It's pretty fun to play with the restriction at least once. After that yeah just save there and never do it again.

What about the free skills scout gets for implants? Also, I always feel like my force powers never work. Enemies always save against them, at least on tatoonine.

Is your Wisdom low? Regardless, some of the hardest enemies in the game relative to player level are on Tatooine. Sand people elite warriors are no slouches compared to most everything else.

Yeah I noticed, lol. I was completely bewildered when I faced off against the raiders in front of the sandcrawler, couldn't understand why this was so much harder than any other encounter I'd had with them. Took me three tries to even beat them, more to finish it without losing too many resources.

I took all 8 of my scoundrel level feats before switching to guardian and I didn't see any disadvantage to that though? Was basically a not very tough melee person who can hit very hard with sneak attack and consistently because of guardian. Spent so much money on stims though and went through more than a hundred medkits. Played on hardest difficulty, relied on Carth to be the first one into the fights before replacing his dumb ass with Canderous.
there is both cheat codes and a save game editor you can use if you have issues. the editor can unlock the feats for you.
